Podcast: Fair dismissal for theft

On this week's XpertHR Weekly, we discuss the employment tribunal decisions in Kaczor v Booker Ltd ET/3304520/11 and Pritchard v B&Q Ltd ET/3101211/12, which involved the theft of low-value items by Mr Kaczor and Mr Pritchard and their subsequent dismissal. Both employees challenged the fairness of their dismissal. However, the tribunal decisions demonstrate that a harsh dismissal is not necessarily an unfair dismissal.
